		<description>Well. AIR isn&#039;t actually available for iOS, but Adobe provides a cross-compiler to allow mobile AIR apps to run on iOS. Android and Blackberry do provide AIR so you can have the same codebase.
The iOS cross-compiler for Flex will become available in the upcoming weeks, but is already available for Flash applications.

		<description>I can&#039;t believe I missed reading AIR is available on iOS, that&#039;s quite a game changer to finally have a proper cross platform framework.  As nice as it is doing web based apps with GWT (I&#039;m loving the Google App Engine as the backend!) etc sometimes you need real access to the phone.</description>
